Mixtape Talent's Founder and CEO Carrie Bucci sure ain't your traditional HR lady. She's been working with agencies, startups and innovators for almost 25 years; after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she landed her first job as a copywriter at TBWA/Chiat/Day Advertising in NYC. Along the way she's also been a publicist, freelance writer, marketing manager, event producer and doula (fun fact: Carrie studied for a while to become a midwife, had her second daughter at home and has attended over 20 births). She was the first Philly Community Manager for both Yelp and Google Places, oversaw a team at the world's largest creative staffing firm and has worked in-house at some of Philadelphia's top advertising agencies.
Carrie is one of the founding organizers of DisruptHR Philadelphia and has served on the board for AIGA Philadelphia; she also speaks frequently on People Operations topics. Carrie is currently pursuing her Certified Professional Coach (CPC), Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) and COR.E Dynamics™ certifications through IPEC, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), to further her work with businesses and individuals. She's also currently working on a book about work/life harmony and burnout resilience. What a nerd!
In her free time, Carrie enjoys meditation, yin yoga, making playlists, reading and spending time with her best friend, the television.
