A graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, Carrie brings a non-traditional, eclectic approach to her coaching and consulting work. After launching her career as a copywriter at TBWA/Chiat/Day Advertising and gaining experience in PR and marketing, she helped to launch the Community Management practice at Yelp and Google, ran the Philadelphia branch of the world's largest creative staffing firm and led talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development efforts for some of Philadelphia's top advertising, digital and branding agencies.
Carrie is one of the founding organizers of DisruptHR Philadelphia and has served on the board of AIGA Philadelphia; she also speaks frequently on People Operations topics and is working on a book about work/life harmony and burnout resilience. She is a formally trained Leadership and Personal Development Coach through iPEC, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), which helps to inform her impactful work with businesses and individuals.
In her free time, she enjoys meditation, yoga, hiking, travel and spending time with her best friend, the television.
